Florence 4C Pedestal Mailboxes Are Discontinued

November 30, 2020

Florence 4C Pedestal Mailboxes have been discontinued as of November 30, and the USPS Cluster Box Unit (CBU) mailbox is the standard for all multi-family mail delivery for both postal and private use.

Let us be clear. It is not the whole line of 4C mailboxes that are being discontinued. Builders, property owners, and property managers alike will still be able to buy 4C cluster mailboxes. Our 4C recessed mount and 4C surface mount options are still available for private distribution and USPS distribution. Florence is simply refocusing on their amazing line of cluster box unit (CBU) mailboxes.

You Will Not Miss 4C Pedestal Mailboxes

Florence CBU mailboxes are considered the design standard for all other commercial mailboxes. These cluster box units often go above and beyond the USPS’ expectations. They are some of the most durable mailboxes on the market. Heavy-duty cam locks, anti-fish combs, and a sloping hood on the outgoing mail slot make CBUs tamper-proof. Industrial grade aluminum, robotically welded seams, a sloping roof, and a front drip edge makes them weather-proof as well.

Our customers will get all of the same great options with the CBU mailboxes that they did with the 4C pedestal mailboxes, and more. CBUs are USPS approved and have a 5-year product warranty. They have many finishes to choose from, as well as many tenant door ID options. Additionally, CBUs offer wider compartments to allow for magazines, larger envelopes, or small packages. They also have a standard parcel locker included for every cluster with ten tenant doors or more!

The experts at The MailboxWorks provide professional guidance. We can help you with the ordering process. For more information about these cluster box unit (CBU) mailboxes, please send us an email or call us toll-free at 1-866-717-4943.
