CBU Cluster Box Parts (Florence 1570 Series)
Most CBU replacement parts here fit the Florence 1570. We stock the 5 inch tenant door (K91108SP), 5 inch master door (K91119SP), small parcel door (K91250SP) and large parcel door (K91257SP, in twelve finishes). You’ll also find pedestals and the postal to private conversion kit (item 206550, Florence kit CK25750). Our cluster box unit accessories include decorative wraps and pedestal covers. Shop all CBU mailbox replacement parts for Florence 1570 series, or compare new USPS approved cluster mailboxes.
4C Horizontal Parts (Florence Versatile Series)
4C is the current USPS standard for wall-mounted centralized delivery. Our range of 4C mailbox replacement parts is small right now, so call 1-866-717-4943 for any Versatile part you don’t see listed. Replacing the whole unit? Browse our horizontal 4C mailboxes.
4B Horizontal Parts (Florence 1400 Series)
The 1400 series still serves many older apartment lobbies and offices. We carry the K1400 tenant door, which takes a standard tenant lock or a combination lock, and the KL14700 master door. See all Florence 1400 series horizontal parts, or our horizontal 4B mailboxes if the unit is past repair.
Identify Your Unit Before You Order
To know which part you need, find your unit’s series number and lock code first. Florence’s current line has six mailbox series, and most of their parts, like doors, don’t swap between them. A part that doesn’t fit the unit is the most common reason one comes back. Florence’s own replacement parts page shows the parts for each series.
Where to Find Your Series Number and Lock Code
Florence mailbox parts are matched by series. To identify your unit, look for an ID tag, serial number or manufacturer name. Florence says these are often on the back or lower front corner of the unit. Florence has also been listed under other names, including Cutler and American Device. Next, check your key for a manufacturer name and number. Your lock code decides which key blank fits. For the K91910 lock, codes run from 1000Ps to 4999Ps. Call us if you can’t find yours.
Take a photo of the tag and your key before you order. Tag missing or painted over? Send a photo through our quote form or call 1-866-717-4943. We’ll identify the unit for you.
Which Parts You Can Replace and Which Ones USPS Controls
On a cluster box unit, the property owner handles almost every part. The Postal Service controls the master access lock. USPS Postal Handbook PO-632, section 3-2, makes the builder or property owner responsible for lock and key service. The compartment locks and keys ship with the unit. Carriers can’t accept keys to private mail receptacles, except where an electromechanical door lock system or USPS key keeper boxes are used.
Under section 3-3, the Postal Service furnishes the master access lock, and it isn’t available to developers and builders to pre-install.
| Component | Who is responsible |
|---|---|
| Tenant, master and parcel locker doors | Property owner |
| Tenant cam locks and key blanks | Property owner |
| Pedestals and anchor hardware | Property owner |
| USPS master access (arrow) lock | Postal Service |
For most cluster mailbox repair jobs, you order the part yourself. Moving a unit off USPS delivery? The postal to private conversion kit handles that. For a lost tenant key, see how to get a replacement mailbox key.
Ordering Replacement Locks and Key Blanks by Lock Code
Key blanks are not universal, so match the blank to your lock code before you order. We stock two CompX National blanks for the K91910 lock:
| SKU | Lock code range | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 91512 | 1000Ps to 1999Ps, 3000Ps to 3999Ps | $2.94 |
| 91513 | 2000Ps to 2999Ps, 4000Ps to 4999Ps | $2.94 |
Order the wrong one and the key won’t cut. If your code falls outside both ranges, call us before you buy.
We also carry the CompX National tenant cam lock with three keys and a hook cam for Type I ($68.94). The K91610 parcel locker lock kit for 1570 CBUs costs $151.99.
Choosing Pedestals and Anchor Hardware for Your Installation
Pedestals are sized by door count. The 91129 pedestal fits 8 to 12 door units ($252.00) and the 91121 fits 13 to 16 door units ($229.98), each in four colors.
Your anchor hardware depends on the concrete. L-bolt and anchor bolt kits set into wet concrete while the pad is poured. Expansive wedge anchor kits fix a pedestal to concrete that has already cured. All three kits cost $34.13. Want it done for you? Book our mailbox installation services.
Parts for NDCBU and Other Legacy Units
An NDCBU mailbox (neighborhood delivery and collection box unit) is the older rear-loading pedestal design. The current front-loading CBU replaced it. Florence’s NDCBU line was the 1580, which Florence lists as discontinued. For older Florence horizontals, we stock the postal to private conversion kit, which fits 1400 and 2600 series units. Not sure what you have? Send us a photo and we’ll check for a part that fits.
USPS Postal Bulletin 22154 says NDCBU mailboxes are not approved for new delivery. They also can’t replace existing NDCBUs, even when privately purchased. Postal officials must not install arrow locks in new NDCBUs. Repairing an NDCBU already in service is a separate matter. Florence lists NDCBUs as obsolete on its USPS approved mailboxes page.
