All 4C commercial locking mailboxes are extremely rugged and subject to installation requirements for maximum height and distance off the floor.

USPS approved 4C mailboxes may be installed inside or outside a building, mounted in a wall or mounted in a kiosk. Rear loading 4C mailboxes require a secure mail room for USPS carrier access to load the mail.

On October 2006, the USPS-STD-4C was implemented, which applies to all wall mounted commercial mailboxes for centralized mail distribution including those installed in urban and rural settings.

Centralized mail delivery systems are highly efficient for the mail delivery and collection offering better mail protection and providing easier access for both the tenants and the mail carriers.

Auth Florence 4C Commercial Mailboxes

Mailbox Works offers several types of USPS approved, pre-configured 4C commercial mailboxes by Auth Florence Manufacturing. You can mix and match 4C mailbox modules to customize your mail delivery system to meet your project needs.

Auth Florence 4C mailboxes are simple, easy to use and extremely versatile.  They undergo stringent security testing by USPS and feature thick, vandal proof reinforced collection doors with one-piece extruded hinges that are designed to resist prying. 

4C mailboxes also include standard heavy duty cam locks and available models that include at least one parcel locker for every ten mailbox compartments.

For security and privacy reasons and to better comply with accessibility regulations we also recommend your mailbox compartments be sequentially numbered.

Front Loading 4C Commercial Mailboxes

Auth Florence front loading 4C mailboxes feature all new tenant and parcel door sizes plus mail collection as well as outgoing mail door slot options.

The modular design allows these Auth Florence commercial mailboxes to be configured with up to 20 tenant doors per module. Plus, individual mailbox compartments can be customized to include single, double, triple, quadruple and quintuple equivalent size mailbox compartments.

Both front load and rear load 4C mailboxes are finished with weather resistant powder coating and are available in up to 10 different colors.

Rear Loading 4C Commercial Mailboxes

Auth Florence wall mounted, rear loading 4C mailboxes can be installed in a secure room to provide even faster mail delivery. We also carry key keepers that are USPS approved.

Auth Florence 4C mailboxes are simple to customize and there are limitless layout options. You can choose from five different tenant door sizes, plus 4 optional parcel door sizes and five possible outgoing collection box sizes.

Vario Stands for 4C Commercial Mailboxes

Vario depot mail stands provide added flexibility allowing you to install 4C commercial mailboxes either inside or outside. These are stand alone centralized mail distribution units that can accommodate from 4 door high units up to 16 door high units.

Vario Mail Station Kits

The Vario mail station kit is ideal for centralized mail distribution that is being installed outside. Vario mail station kits can withstand winds of up to 90 mph and may be ordered with ratings for up to 150 mph winds.

All Vario mail station kits are designed to be architecturally pleasing and come with an unfinished roof so you can finish the roof to integrate with the neighboring surroundings. They also compliment Auth Florence 4C mailboxes (not included with the kit).

Vario mail stations can be purchased with or without Auth Florence 4C mailboxes.

Vario Express Mail Station Kits

The Vario Express mail station kit has no roof and is highly adaptable. This centralized mail distribution center for exterior commercial mailboxes can be organized so the 4C mailbox placement is back to back, front to front or arranged in a square or some other configuration.

Surface Mounted 4C Commercial Mailboxes

If your project doesn’t have the proper wall depth to recess front loading 4C commercial mailboxes then you can mount your 4C Mailboxes on the wall with a surface mount collar.

Surface mount collars include mounting hardware with hidden fasteners so your 4C mailboxes can be installed on any wall with conventional wood studs. Surface mount collars may be installed into other surfaces using the appropriate hardware. Surface mount collars also feature a powder coat finish to match your 4C mailboxes.

Installation Requirements for 4C Commercial Mailboxes

All Auth Florence 4C mailboxes are STD-4C compliant and USPS approved; they meet or exceed USPS standards.
